Nanoprom with pride and satisfaction announces that it has received all the complete and official authorization from Ist Superiore Sanità.
Nanoprom is therefore among the 22 companies in Italy (its 903 applications submitted) to have obtained the favorable opinion for the production, marketing and use of medical masks with the exception procedure drawn up for Covid 19. It is a very important result because it officially testifies to the seriousness adopted by the company to create a reliable and performing product. This approval encourages us a lot because, in a difficult moment like this, the disposable medical mask is probably the main instrument, together with distances, to help limit contagions in the phase 2.
We are delighted to have obtained approval to produce because the Nanoprom model is different from that of all other medical masks made with the classic elastic behind the ears: PROTECT EASY in fact, it allows you to cover your face more extensively and above all gives the possibility to adapt the mask according to the shape of the face; the adjustable width, the nose cover strap and the under chin adhesive are in fact adaptable by the user according to their shapes and this makes the mask more comfortable to be worn even for prolonged times, just as we probably have to get used to doing for a while. We are very happy that this model has been understood and approved by the ISS: safety first.
For a few days we have had confirmation of phase two and we know that many companies will reopen in the coming weeks with the desire to provide employees and customers with suitable protections: the finding of masks is therefore an indispensable requirement. We are also trying to satisfy all requests to supply those who had assumed the washable / reusable and who realized at the last moment that they were not actually organized to guarantee washing operations safely and without giving responsibility and duties. of washing to the employee. We are happy to have chosen to invest in the realization of disposable masks because we understand that, Now more than ever, responsibility for ensuring adequate sanitation cannot be left to the employee e, on the other hand, many companies are not equipped and organized to manage washing internally. We are already thinking about future eco-sustainable solutions but at the moment the only answer we feel we can give is that of a disposable product that leaves no room for doubt or responsibility.
Regarding the maximum cost imposed, Nanoprom had already decided from the beginning to sell the masks at minimum anti-looting prices, so the company is already ready to cope with conditions with absolutely very low margins.
In these days it is very difficult to reason with foresight and objective elements in R's activities&D that represent my work. But I must admit that other intelligent and ambitious projects are being born in Nanoprom to try to cope with the needs that will emerge post-emergency, and this is encouraging.
The Sassuola nanotechnology company has been approved by the Istituto Superiore di Sanità for the production and marketing of single-use masks. Falleti also launches the “francobollo ururgico” to improve the work of doctors in resuscitation departments.
Gian Luca Falleti did it: L’ISS (Higher Institute of Health) has granted Nanoprom authorization to manufacture and market medical masks with the derogation procedure drawn up for Covid 19.
The company of Sassuolo, then, is among the 22 companies in Italy to have obtained the favorable opinion against 903 applications submitted. Nanoprom opened the bio-medical section at the beginning of the pandemic crisis, given that at the F1 tests in Barcelona he had brought to some teams a new film that allows to protect some aerodynamic elements such as the barge board from micro breakages due to debris on the track (rubber murble or pebbles).
“E’ a very important result - explains Falleti – because it officially testifies to the seriousness adopted by Nanoprom in creating a reliable and performing product. This approval encourages us why, in a difficult moment like this, the disposable medical mask is, together with social distancing, the main tool to limit infections in Phase 2 ".
The disposable Nanoprom mask is different from all the others: does not have the classic elastic behind the ears: Protect Easy, indeed, covers the face more extensively, adapting the mask to the shape of the face.
The width is adjustable; the nose cover band and the under chin adhesive are adaptable, so it is possible to wear this mask even for prolonged times in full comfort.
here is the “surgical stamp” applied to a Photo by mask: NanoFlowcell
“We are already thinking about future eco-sustainable solutions - continues Falleti – but at the moment the only answer we feel we can give is that of a disposable product. As for the imposed cost, Nanoprom had already decided from the beginning to sell the masks at minimum anti-looting prices, so the company is ready to meet the requests even with absolutely very small margins ".
For doctors and health professionals, Nanoprom has designed the "surgical stamp", a novelty that was born taking into account the needs of doctors operating in this health emergency. The "surgical stamp", indeed, allows you to transform the FFP2 FFP3 masks from selfish (that only protect the wearer) to altruistic, combining the filtering capacity of surgical ones with the filtering capacity of those with filter.
Who works in intensive care, then, can switch from double to single mask, reducing the negative effects due to the lack of double elastic bands, less pressure on the face and less weight.
In short, nanotechnologies that have also been developed for F1 are finding important applications in the COVID-19 crisis…
