The company of Sassuolo, then, is among the 22 companies in Italy to have obtained the favorable opinion against 903 applications submitted. Nanoprom opened the bio-medical section at the beginning of the pandemic crisis, given that at the F1 tests in Barcelona he had brought to some teams a new film that allows to protect some aerodynamic elements such as the barge board from micro breakages due to debris on the track (rubber murble or pebbles).
“E’ a very important result - explains Falleti – because it officially testifies to the seriousness adopted by Nanoprom in creating a reliable and performing product. This approval encourages us why, in a difficult moment like this, the disposable medical mask is, together with social distancing, the main tool to limit infections in Phase 2 ".
The disposable Nanoprom mask is different from all the others: does not have the classic elastic behind the ears: Protect Easy, indeed, covers the face more extensively, adapting the mask to the shape of the face.
The width is adjustable; the nose cover band and the under chin adhesive are adaptable, so it is possible to wear this mask even for prolonged times in full comfort.

here is the “surgical stamp” applied to a Photo by mask: NanoFlowcell
“We are already thinking about future eco-sustainable solutions - continues Falleti – but at the moment the only answer we feel we can give is that of a disposable product. As for the imposed cost, Nanoprom had already decided from the beginning to sell the masks at minimum anti-looting prices, so the company is ready to meet the requests even with absolutely very small margins ".
For doctors and health professionals, Nanoprom has designed the "surgical stamp", a novelty that was born taking into account the needs of doctors operating in this health emergency. The "surgical stamp", indeed, allows you to transform the FFP2 FFP3 masks from selfish (that only protect the wearer) to altruistic, combining the filtering capacity of surgical ones with the filtering capacity of those with filter.
Who works in intensive care, then, can switch from double to single mask, reducing the negative effects due to the lack of double elastic bands, less pressure on the face and less weight.
In short, nanotechnologies that have also been developed for F1 are finding important applications in the COVID-19 crisis…
