Torino 20 March 2015 - After the success of the Pininfarina Carbongrafite, Visconti and Pininfarina are pleased to present at Baselworld the second result of the collaboration: Pininfarina Nanotech.
Pininfarina Carbongrafite stood out in the landscape of writing instruments through the use of an aerospace material, The unidirectional carbon graphite, with unique aesthetic technical characteristics. For the evolution of the project was carried out a search in the materials used in Formula One. The material used is in fact the Nanotech ADNC, which is obtained by a treatment to carbon nanotubes to spread, It is unremovable and guarantees outstanding performance so as to be adopted by leading Formula One teams. The new Pininfarina Nanotech does not exhaust the innovations in material, but incorporates important technical improvements: It has been redesigned such as the optical mechanism kaizen, of continuous improvement.

Pininfarina Nanotech has a completely revised mechanism. The pen is lighter thus allowing a better writing experience.
The pen body is no longer lives but magnetic, filling and refill exchange are carried out much more quickly and simply thanks to the stem with magnetic closure. Even cleaning is greatly facilitated because the stylus can also be extracted during the filling phase. A simple click communicates both the aperture and the closure of the pen. All metal fittings are made of titanium.
The packaging is made of Nanotech, the same material of the pen, and shall draw the mechanism.
The material:
The Nanotech ADNC is an innovative material recently invented by Nanoprom. It consists of avional aereonautico treated with carbon nanotubes and silver ions.
It is a lightweight metal, with specific gravity 1/3 steel, more resistant to corrosion of the best stainless steel and more resistant to abrasive wear of hardened steel and with antibacterial properties.
A drastic weight reduction (65% in less than steel), without giving up an excellent mechanical consistency, means for all the moving parts to reduce both the energy consumption that the inertial phenomena.
Visconti and then Nanoprom have devised a formula perfectly adapting it to writing, with the typical characteristics of luxury products.

• Corrosion resistance, 20 times greater than any metal
• Low coefficient of friction, self-lubrication of the mechanism
• High thermal conductivity, so high writing comfort

• Ability to absorb heat and reissue it with ultra-infrared waves
• High capacity antibacterial and anti-mold (bacteriostatic) therefore high hygienic safety
