‘Nanoprom’: the name already anticipates your sector.

“That of nanomaterials, that we use in the commercial field. They are chemicals or materials composed of particles, of which at least one with a size between 1 is 100 nanometers. This allows for a more homogeneous structure which is crucial in certain fields”.

How the business was born?

“In Sassuolo, in 1997, I decided to start a business, with the marketing of products for industry. I entered the glass protection chemicals market e, after some years, I have developed a product that vitrifies surfaces when cold. Finally, in 2011, I filed the 'liquid glass' trademark.

What concrete applications does it have?

“It is the vehicle with which we use nanomaterials, on all kinds of surfaces, working alongside shipyards, aeronautical companies, paint manufacturers, ceramic industries, manufacturers of shower stalls and public transport. It is a coating that, once applied, guarantees the restoration of the 'gloss' to values ​​similar to those of the new surface, good corrosion resistance and high hardness. Furthermore, surfaces become resistant to dirt”.

There is also an environmental aspect?

“Our product, it Polysil, it is given cold and this allows energy savings. It is widely used in the world of ceramic for kitchen tops: from what we know, it is the only product in the world that is food-grade stain-resistant”.
