Nanoprom is an entrepreneurial reality among the first in Italy to believe in the research and commercial application of nanomaterials. At the end of the 90s, applications of silica-based nanomaterials begin, Nanoprom develops Polysil which represents one of the new products in the field of surface protection, consisting of polymer-based structures (gelcoat and paints), metals, alloys and glass. In this area it was determinant, for Nanoprom, the experience conducted in Tetrapack within which Polysil is the product chosen by Tetrapack to protect all their systems in the world (steel structures, aluminum and glass).
