The anti-virus product that will protect five ambulances

Charity. The substance of Nanoprom used for the means of the Red Cross

by Alfonso Scibona

BV-Stop, the new antiviral and antibacterial substance developed by Nanoprom, a chemical and biomedical company of Casalgrande, founded by the Sassuolo entrepreneur Gian Luca Falleti, yesterday had its first application inside and outside the ambulances of the Sassuolo Red Cross ( and of the Casalgrande EMA). But what is it about? «BV-Stop is a totally non-toxic and odorless liquid - explains Falleti - that we have developed in a year of research, practically since the beginning of the pandemic. With the Tecnopolo di Mirandola and the support of Unimore, we conducted tests in the laboratory and were able to certify that, once applied to ceramic and plastic surfaces, after 2 hours of time BV-Stop reduces bacteria by 98.9% and by 98 % the viral loads of human coronavirus and adenovirus. Given the importance of this new tool, I therefore wanted to pay homage to the areas in which I live and work, namely Sassuolo and Casalgrande, by donating the complete "coating" to the Red Cross vehicles, which can now benefit from this long-lasting sanitation. There is also an important personal component in this action: recently my father-in-law, Giovanni Sabatino, passed away precisely because of Covid. To honor his memory, we have taken steps to take this initiative and we will try to extend the donations to hospitals as well, by contacting the respective directions ».

An unexpected gift for the Sassuolo CRI. «I sincerely thank Gian Luca - comments Carlo Alberto Venturelli, president of the Sassuolo Red Cross Committee - because from today our 5 ambulances can be even safer. Since the beginning of the pandemic, our more than 250 volunteers have been at the forefront of this battle against Covid. The opportunity of this particular sanitation now gives us extra security ".

As for Sassolese vehicles, Nanoprom financed the treatment with BV-Stop in 4 ambulances, while the fifth was financed by Erio Luigi Munari, owner of Zincosider. «With our commitment to social issues - explains Falleti - we are ready to make other donations and other treatments completely free of charge. However, it seems to me a good idea to propose this opportunity to many other entrepreneurs, who at low cost (sanitizing an ambulance with BV-Stop costs about 200 euros and the treatment lasts for about a year) can now become promoters of virtuous actions in their own communities ". -
