Nanoprom is an entrepreneurial reality among the first in Italy to believe in the research and commercial application of nanomaterials, or, as they say in jargon, in the world of 10-9(10 to minus 9).
At the end of the 90s, the applications of silica-based nanomaterials begin, Nanoprom develops Polysil which represents one of the new products in the field of surface protection, consisting of polymer-based structures (gelcoat and paints), metals, alloys and glass . In this context, the experience conducted in Tetrapack was decisive for Nanoprom, within which Polysil is the product chosen by Tetrapack to protect all their systems in the world (steel, aluminum and glass structures).

In 2011 at Seatec Nanoprom with Polysil he won Qualitec Award 2011 as a product capable of reviving highly worn materials, thus representing - therefore - an alternative to painting and polishing, ensuring higher protection of surfaces during their use.

It is, in fact, a particular coating, which, once applied, guarantees the restoration of the gloss to values similar to those of the new surface, excellent resistance to corrosion and high hardness. Furthermore, the surfaces become resilient to dirt, thanks to the reduction of surface tension.

Polysil has the same qualities as glass. In this way, the surfaces both in gelcoat, fiberglass, metal or other substrates can be, or recovered, or preserved from wear, in a resistant and completely homologous way to the material on which it is laid.

From these experiences others have emerged, completely identical in application, but different in terms of expectations and functions of use, such as:

• reduction of friction and progressive increase in the smoothness of materials;
• ease in keeping the external and internal structures clean;
• greater savings in maintenance costs and consequent lower environmental impact, in the different environments where the materials are used: water and air.

WATER
Nanoprom has started to propose, with important successes documented by:
• Yacht C.B.I. Navi;
• Fypa yacht;
• AB yacht;
• Italian maritime aviation (an exclusive five-year agreement signed with Nanoprom), its products to reduce friction both on the hull and on the sides of the boats.

ARIA
In the aircraft sector the tests carried out - together with the Italian flight school of Cremona - have produced significant results, for aircraft:
• Savannah built by Rotax 912 100hp motorized ICP;
• Super Bingo motorized Simonini 100 hp;
• Ppioneer 300;
• Tecnam p92 – p2600 – p2800;
• Certified aircraft: Cirrus, Cesna;
• Gliders and motor gliders.

In this context Nanoprom collaborates with important companies such as: Sirio and Alba.

The next step is aimed at increasing the visibility and the possibility of making Nanoprom products known also through the Italian flight school in Cremona. The entrepreneurial choice of Nanoprom is simple:
build product innovation by working closely with the most important competitive experiences, because competition is the territory where the result - the technology used - pays in the clearest way in fact Nanoprom is used by:

Matteo Miceli - 2003/2004 - record holder for Atlantic crossing in pairs (still unbeaten).
Matteo Miceli - 2007 - solitary repeats the Atlantic crossing record.
Matteo Miceli in 2007 is sailor of the year.

Giovanni Soldini Maserati 2011-2012
World record Cadiz - San Salvador 2012 - 4632 real miles (3884 on the Orthodox route) covered in 10 days 23 hours 9 minutes and 2 seconds

Andrea Mura winner in 2010 of the Route Du Rhum.

Savannah model
In the aeronautical field, seaplanes have their hulls treated with Polysil which allows a 45% reduction in friction with water, this allows the aircraft to be raised in smaller spaces during take-off. This represents 3 crucial elements for the pilots:

• safety during take-off allowing the detachment in confined spaces;
• reduction of maintenance costs, lower environmental impact determined by the low use of detergents and water;
• extension of the life cycle of all elements in contact with water.

This partnership now allows Nanoprom to present itself on the market with innovative and often unique solutions in the field of surface treatment with nanotechnologically advanced substances, created to solve the vast range of problems that would be difficult to solve or even impossible with normal treatments.

Nanoprom paves the way for hitherto unimaginable objectives, finding cutting-edge solutions for all manufacturers who have to deal with the countless difficulties generated by surface treatment every day. Find innovative solutions with a methodology that is constantly updated and adapted to the customer.

Gian Luca Falleti, owner of Nanoprom, was born in Sassuolo on 10 March 1976. He enrolled at the Aeronautical Technical Institute of Forlì, but was forced to abandon his studies after an accident. He therefore begins to work first as an insurer. It was only in 1997 that he decided to start his own business and began marketing products for the industry. A few years later he meets a chemist and is passionate about the "behavior" of Polysil ™. With constant commitment he invests 2 years in the laboratory while the Nanoprom continues to work relying on external agents. In recent years he has applied and studied Polysil ™ on all kinds of surfaces with different methods, working alongside major shipyards, aeronautics, paint manufacturers, ceramic industries, manufacturers of showers and public transport, which today boasts as its own customers . Despite this, Gian Luca continues to study cutting-edge solutions using constantly updated methodologies.
