Produced by a biomedical company in the Reggio area

A spray that would be able to eliminate viruses and bacteria on surfaces for up to five years. It is the solution developed by Nanoprom Chemicals, a chemical and biomedical company based in Casalgrande, Reggio Emilia, which has also tested the product on the human coronavirus family, he stresses, with promising results.
BV-Stop, the spray is called, with the letters 'B' and 'V' which stand for 'bacteria' and 'virus'. A product designed for all those places whose surfaces are at risk due to the presence of pathogens, from operating theaters to office desks, from mobile phones to the wheel of the car.
"It is a truly innovative water-based product - explains Gian Luca Falleti, founder and owner of Nanoprom - First of all, for the goal it immediately achieves: the tests we conducted in the laboratory, with the support of the Technopole. di Mirandola ”, in the Modena area,“ indicate that, 24 hours after its application, in the laboratory, it reduces by 99.99% the bacteria inoculated on the treated surface, compared to the untreated surface. Tests on viruses belonging to the human coronavirus family have also given excellent results, showing after only two hours a reduction in the viral load, in laboratory tests, of over 90% ". The tested substance would be colorless and odorless, “it does not even leave wet or greasy traces once applied”. The most interesting data, underlines Falletti, are those on the duration of the spray action over time: "We tested the permanence of BV-Stop by simulating weekly washes with the most aggressive industrial detergents - explains the owner of the company - We found that the its effectiveness remains substantially unchanged for at least 300 different passages. Laboratory tests suggest that BV-Stop provides protection against viruses and bacteria for up to five years from its first and only application ”.
The product will be available shortly on the large-scale market. There are already companies ready to use it. The first is Sitcar Italia, a bus manufacturer in Formigine, in the Modenese area.
