The same would be possible by treating the BBS 18 ”monotype rims, going down to 50 grams of nanotechnological paint per rim, against the current 250 grams, capturing another saving of 800 grams on the single train, adding properties in thermal insulation. This aspect is under regulatory evaluation as the wheels are from a single supplier this year.
