Nanoprom: Aquaspeed for super-fast fairings

Sassuolo. Nanoprom, a manufacturer of nano-molecular polymers for the treatment of all parts of boats, is achieving excellent results in the world of regattas with its new Aquaspeed. It is a nanomolecular polymer which, spread on the quick work, creates a self-leveling film which reduces friction in the water. It also serves to treat the topside by decreasing the resistance of the water itself on the bulwarks upwind and makes splashes or rain flow away from the deck. Both products, based on nanotechnologies, are developed by the Nanoprom laboratories for the Aquatic line.
Nanoprom was the technical sponsor of Fremito d'Arja during the Melges 20 Gold Cup organized in the Gulf of Naples in early November. The hull of the Melges 20 of the Levi-Casale-Lagi trio, winner of the event, has been treated with Aquaspeed to increase its sliding effect on the water.
Almost at the same time, the Pescara Nautical Club hosted the European UFO 22. Nanoprom equipped Mini Man, Riccardo Di Bartolomeo's boat (including Enrico Zennaro and Simone Ferrarese in the crew), which won the international competition. Also in this case Aquaspeed was used for the treatment of the hull.
We remind you that Nanoprom is also a technical partner of the Italian Sailing Federation.
